Charleston SC

After Amelia Island, we headed up the coast to SC to visit Colt and Beth. They were gracious hosts and it was so nice to get to spend some time with them. We explored the entire area of Charleston, walked the Battery, ate really good food (both out and at Colt and Beth's), played Frisbee golf, went to playgrounds, played in the water fountain in downtown, went to the beach and hung out together. One of Tay's favorite parts was helping Uncle Colt walk Penny each day.

This is the "Angle Oak" on John's Island, and it is absolutely amazing, we visited it twice while we were there.

On the way back we stopped at the big oak in Gainesville

Amelia Island

After leaving New Smyrna, we drove to Amelia Island for the weekend. As always, we had a great time being with our wonderful friends, eating good food, going to the beach, and watching the kids play.

Tay's first egg hunt

Pete hid Easter eggs around the living room for Tay to find on Easter morning, she LOVED it! Later in the day we filled them with pretzels and hid them in the yard.

Al and Ian

We made a little trip up the east coast before I went back to work. The first stop was in New Smyrna to see our friends Al and Ian. We had a great little visit and even got a "Tommy Neil send-off"!!
