First Ultrasound!

Today we went for our first doctor's appointment. We finally met Dr. Shah and he is wonderful. He was very kind, and patient with all of our questions. He gave me a physical, and even though it was fast and very professional, I felt like a sick-o because I could not stop giggling as I watched Pete who was trying to find a safe place to avert his eyes. We thought we were about seven weeks pregnant but it turned out that we were almost eight, so we were able to get our first ultrasound. It was amazing to see the little heart beat and then to get to hear it pounding fast and strong.
