My Favorite Place
I cannot express how blessed I have been to be able to stay home with my incredible family on my maternity leave. We do lots of fun things during the day, but one of my most favorite things to do is put a blanket in the yard, under the trees, and lay out there with everyone soaking up the warm sun.
Blake's Baptism and Easter
For to you is the promise, and to your children, and to all
that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call
unto him. And I will establish my covenant between me and thee
and thy seed after thee throughout their generations for an
everlasting covenant, to be a God unto thee and to thy seed after
thee. Believe on the Lord Jesus, and thou shalt be saved, thou
and thy house. (Acts 2:39; Gen. 17:7; Acts 16:31)
This Easter morning we had the privilege of having Blake baptized. Don and Delores were able to come up for this very joyous occasion and our preacher asked Pete and me the following questions.
1. Do you acknowledge your child’s need of the cleansing blood
of Jesus Christ, and the renewing grace of the Holy Spirit? ---Yes
2. Do you claim God’s covenant promises in (his) behalf, and do
you look in faith to the Lord Jesus Christ for (his) salvation,
as you do for your own? ---Yes
3. Do you now unreservedly dedicate your child to God, and
promise, in humble reliance upon divine grace, that you will
endeavor to set before (him) a godly example, that you will
pray with and for (him), that you will teach (him) the
doctrines of our holy religion, and that you will strive, by all
the means of God’s appointment, to bring (him) up in the
nurture and admonition of the Lord? ---Yes
After church we had a baptism/Easter celebratory lunch at our house.

Munz House
Melissa came to Homestead to visit for Easter so we drove over so we could spend the day with her, Katie, and ALL the kids. The Munz house is a kid Mecca with all kinds of toys, riding cars, golf carts, and friends. We spend most of the time in the kiddie play pool and talking. I sure do love those girls and all of their precious children.
Every time I took a picture of Kingston he would say "cheese" and Taylor was trying to figure out what the noise was.

Uncle Clay and (soon to be) AUNT Marysol
Clay and Marysol came up to meet Blake. Clay and Pete ran a 5K (Clay's first!), we went shopping, hung out by the pool, and went downtown for dinner. We were so grateful that they made the time to come over for a visit.
