The most amazing dad

The Friday before we went down to tailgate for the Gator game,  I opened the door to this...

 It took me a second to figure out what was going on, then I started laughing and grabbed the camera

 This guy loves his little girl, and will do anything for her

 Only Pete would think to use a head light to paint nails

 Blake was fascinated by that light

 The final product, he even added sparkles!!!

 

The kids and I are so blessed to have such a sacrificial, humble, and loving husband and father. 

Blakers

Blake is such a funny little guy with a huge personality. He is a love bug and can pitch a fit quicker than you can blink, accompanied by a high step dance and a drop . It takes all my self control to not laugh when he does this little dance because it is so pitiful.

Tay: (playing outside, but clearly listening) Nothing's wrong with you mama, you're just right.

Halloween

We decided last minute to go out to Hilliard for Halloween and participate in our church's Trunk-or-treat. The kids had fun going from trunk to trunk and going on the hay ride. Taylor and Riley were fairies and Blake was a fisherman. Pete made Blake's fishing vest and bought him a little rod and reel. Pete said he bought the fishing pole around 10:00 on Halloween day and Blake did not stop reeling until he went to bed that night. Pete said through out the day, Blake would randomly throw a little fit because he knew at some point he was going to have to put down his fishing pole. The weekend after Halloween, (Blake still had not put the pole down) we went to the beach. The entire time we were there, Blake cast his pole into the water and waited for a bite. Still, two weeks later, all day long Blake cast his pole and then says "dada" which means he has caught a big fish.

Mom and Dad's visit

My mom and dad came up for a visit and to celebrate Tay's birthday. We had such a good time eating good food, going to the beach, downtown ,the zoo, carving pumpkins, and being together.
