Three Years Old!!

Our precious Taylor Grace turned 3 years old on October 19th. Pete and I had been excited for weeks leading up to the day. We wanted to make it a special weekend so we drove down to Gainesville for the weekend. We met Trey at Satchels to eat dinner and play in the eccentric playground on Friday night. After dinner we went to the Ritz Union hotel to spend the night. We let Tay open one present that night before bed ( we then had the worst night sleep ever, Blake lost his mind and cried until about 3 in the morning). Saturday morning Tay and I went down the hall to bring back some breakfast while Pete decorated the room. We had a fun little party while Blake devoured two yogurts (bless his heart, he was starving the night before, not enough protein from the pizza). After presents we got Krispy Cream donuts and then met Trey at the park to play Frisbee golf. We then went to Dudley Farm in west Gainesville and had a fun time looking around and thinking about the family that used to live there. Before heading home, the kids took a nap at Trey and Scarlett's while we watched the football game.
It was so much fun spending time together and celebrating this most precious gift, Taylor Grace. It is hard to fathom that she has only been in our lives for three short years, and that we could love someone so very much. She is full of light and beauty and brings tears to my eyes when I think about her lovely heart and amazing personality.
Taylor loves dresses, pink, her blue "teddy bear", hummus, sweets (she takes about 3 hours to eat a lollipop because she only licks them), watching movies, wearing princess nightgowns with matching high heels, doing things with her mommy "because we are "girls", playing with Blake, tickling and talking to Riley, being with her daddy, building with blocks, painting/drawing/writing/coloring, playing with puzzles, her church friends, her grandparents, climbing, running, flowers, cupcakes, going on hikes and looking for deer, singing songs, the beach, giraffes, sleeping with mommy and daddy, helping, and lots of other precious things. She is extremely tenderhearted and perceptive of people's feelings. She has an incredible memory and pays attention to details. She likes to copy her daddy and will often take off her shirt so she can match Pete when we are at home. She is good at trying most foods and even liked the chicken livers that her daddy cooked one day (her mom and brother were not fans). She laughs all the time and will randomly, several times a day, tell me and Pete that she loves us. She likes to be held like a baby before bed and to sing "you are my sunshine". She is amazing, and we are so blessed to have her as our baby girl.
