Homestead

Last weekend Pete and I went down to Homestead for a little visit. We stayed with Don and Delores and visited with lots of different people. We got down on Friday and that night and Saturday night we had dinner with Don and Delores. Saturday we visited with Granny and Bun and then went swimming with Tray and Melinda. Sunday we went to Miami with Clay and Marysol to watch the World Cup final. We had planned to go to Espanola Way but it was so incredibly crowded that we ended up in an Irish Pub on South Beach. The pub had two rooms, one room was cheering for Spain and the other for Netherlands. We ended up on the Netherlands side even though Marysol was definitely going for Spain. We had to stand the entire time as the place was completely packed out but we had a lot of fun. After the game we walked out on the beach and then went to eat at Swenson's. Monday we had breakfast at the Royal Palm with mom and dad and then spend the rest of the day with mom at the Fruit and Spice park, and looking for sinkholes at Owaissa Bauer. That night we had dinner with Donald, Lindsay and the boys at their house. On Tuesday we headed back up to Fort Myers with mom in tow for a visit.

Marysol and Clay

This is just a small protion of the pub

The best part of the day was on the way home when we passed this guy coming from the beach. He was stopped at a light and his dreads were touching the ground!
Clay said this guys dreads changed his life! :)
